P&S Pearl Auto Shampoo, 5 Gallon

Pearl is the everyday wash concentrate in the P&S professional range, made by P&S. It is a concentrate rather than a ready to use soap, so a small amount of product makes a bucket of suds and one container lasts through a very long run of washes. P&S describes Pearl as "Environmentally friendly, pH balanced, 100% biodegradable and safe to use for all washing applications" and says it is "easy on the finish of vehicles and easy on your hands." Those are the maker's words, not ours. What matters at the bucket is the foam stability and lubricity P&S credits it with, which is what keeps a wash mitt gliding instead of dragging grit across paint.

P&S says Pearl "may be used by hand or be proportioned through a dilution device for hand or machine use," so it suits a two bucket wash at home and a proportioner in a wash bay equally. Five gallons is the volume size, aimed at a detail shop, a fleet, a car club or anyone who would rather buy soap once a year than four times.
