P&S Rags to Riches Microfiber Detergent, Quart

Rags to Riches is the laundry side of detailing, made by P&S. Microfiber towels are the tool doing most of the work on a car, and household detergent with fabric softener is the fastest way to ruin them: the softener coats the fibers and the towel stops absorbing. This is a detergent built for the job instead. P&S calls it "the next generation of microfiber detergents using new breakthroughs in cleaning technology" and says the formula "deep cleans and restores cleaning and detailing products."

Use it to wash detailing towels, applicators and buffing pads on their own load, away from cotton, so lint does not transfer. P&S notes the product is "concentrated for commercial use" and describes it as "absolutely safe for all microfiber types," and recommends it to "soften, brighten, and bring new life to all your favorite quality microfiber products." Those are the maker's words. Skip the fabric softener and the dryer sheets entirely. A quart of a concentrate covers a lot of loads, which is the point of buying detergent this way.
