P&S Rehab Correction Creme

Rehab is P&S's do everything correction compound, made by P&S. Instead of buying a cutting compound and a finishing polish, you change pads. The maker describes it as "a multi use compound offering a wide range of correction capabilities from strong cut to final finish depending upon paint hardness, pad and tool type," and says it is "exceptional with all types of foam pads from cut to finish." The targets are the usual ones: "paint imperfections, sanding marks, swirl marks, and scratches."

Work in the shade on clean, decontaminated paint, and tape off trim and edges first. Prime the pad, spread the product at low speed, then make slow overlapping passes and let the abrasive do the work rather than leaning on the machine. Start with the least aggressive pad that will fix the defect and step up only if it will not. Wipe the panel down and inspect under a strong light before you decide it is done. P&S notes that "the ease of use and product removal saves time" and that the diversity of the product paired with a skilled technician is what makes it work.
