P&S Water Spot Remover, 5 Gallon

Water Spot Remover from the P&S Pro Series takes on the mineral rings that a sprinkler, hard water or a rinse left to dry in the sun bakes onto paint, glass and wheels. These are calcium deposits, not dirt, so washing will not shift them and polishing only removes the paint around them. This is a heavy duty acid cleaner, and it is sold here in the five gallon pail for shops working through this problem regularly.

Treat it with respect. P&S recommends proper safety equipment, specifically a respirator, gloves and eye protection. Work on a cool surface out of direct sun. Apply a liberal amount to an applicator and lay it onto the panel in a uniform motion, so plenty of product sits on the surface and cuts through the visible calcium rings, and watch the rings disappear in the wet area. Rinse thoroughly, then re protect the surface, because this step strips whatever protection was there.
