Pie Tug

The Pie Tug is a pie slice shaped tug toy, built by American Dog for tough players of all sizes and aimed squarely at anyone who enjoys a math joke their dog will never get. Underneath the gag it is a straightforward tug toy with a loop handle, so you have somewhere to hold while your dog has the wide end. It works for tug first and fetch second.

The slice measures 7 inches by 5 inches with a 6 inch loop handle. It is made from ballistic fabric and stuffed with poly dacron, and it both squeaks and floats. The loop is the part that matters in use, because it keeps your hand clear of your dog’s mouth during a proper pull. As on every American Dog toy page, supervised play is always recommended, because no dog toy is indestructible.
