Ella's Day at Terminal Takeover 2026, Reading Airport
Share
Ella, our shop dog, spent her Saturday working the hangars at Downshift Nation's Terminal Takeover, the car show held on the rear side of Reading Airport in Reading, Pennsylvania. This post is the overview of her day, a mix of moments from a McLaren's spinning propeller backdrop to a quiet close portrait between stops.

From engines to a quiet corner
She posed in front of a McLaren while its propeller spun above her, then found a calmer patch of shade for a couple of close portraits, tongue out and ears relaxed between the noise of the show floor. Later she sat beneath the nose of a vintage aircraft, orange safety barriers marking off the exhibit behind her, a reminder that this show shares its ground with real airplanes.

Ella wore her checkered Sniff and Shift bandana the whole day, and a steady rotation of our freeze-dried treats, including Modified Monthly, kept her settled through the crowds and the engine noise. It is the same routine we bring to every car show we cover.
