3D Black Spider-Cut Foam Finishing Pad, 7.5 in

This is the finishing end of 3D's spider cut foam range: a super soft 7.5 inch pad for rotary and orbital polishers, meant for the last step after compounding and polishing are done. 3D describes it as offering little to no cut depending on the product and the paint, which is exactly the point. Its job is not to remove anything, it is to refine what the previous step left and pull the gloss up.

Pair it with a finishing polish or an all in one and work at lower speed and light pressure, letting the pad and product settle the finish rather than forcing it. The slotted spider cuts flex as you buff, improving airflow through the pad so surface temperatures stay lower over a long panel. At 7.5 inches it covers large flat areas like a hood or a roof quickly, and it is the pad you use when the goal is maximum clarity rather than correction.
