RUPES BW150H Coarse Wool Polishing Pad, 5 in Blue

This is the 5 inch version of the RUPES coarse wool pad, listed by RUPES as the 9.BW150H at 130 by 145 mm. RUPES built the coarse wool range for severe paint defect removal on random orbital, gear driven and triple action polishers, and backs the wool with a rigid, dense blue foam that translates more of the tool movement into the panel.

The wool face uses two distinct fiber lengths, which RUPES describes as a dual density surface that balances cutting power against finishing ability better than a single density wool pad. RUPES lists this size for the BigFoot LHR15, the Duetto LHR12E, the Mille LK900E and the LTA125. Because a smaller pad concentrates pressure, keep the machine moving and check your progress often. Clean the wool between panels and let it dry completely before it goes back in the drawer.
