RUPES D-A Coarse Foam Cutting Pad, 5 in Blue

The D-A Coarse foam pad is the blue cutting pad in the RUPES D-A range. RUPES designed it to work on both random orbital and gear driven tools, and states the open cell foam removes mild to severe defects from most paint systems. RUPES describes this generation as combining the best aspects of the previous blue and green foams, with increased durability and a more vibrant blue color.

This is the 9.DA150H, listed by RUPES at 130 by 150 mm, which is the pad you run on a 5 inch backing plate. Pair it with RUPES D-A Coarse compound, which RUPES says gives improved cutting and finishing ability together. RUPES lists it for the BigFoot LHR15 and LHR21 Mark III random orbitals, the Duetto LHR12E, the Mini LHR75E and the gear driven Mille LK900E. Keep the pad clean between sections so the cut stays even.
