RUPES D-A Fine Foam Polishing Pad, 1.5 in Yellow

This is the smallest yellow pad RUPES makes in the D-A range, listed as the 9.DA40M at 40 mm. It uses the same D-A Fine foam RUPES calls the most versatile in the BigFoot line, with an effective rate of defect removal and the ability to finish to high gloss on most paint systems, shrunk down to the size of a spot repair.

A 40 mm pad is for the places a full size machine cannot reach without touching something it should not: A pillars, mirror housings, the strip between a headlight and a fender, the leading edge of a hood. RUPES recommends pairing D-A Fine foam with D-A Fine polishing compound for moderate to fine defect removal, paint refinement or final finishing. Run a short throw or mini polisher, keep the speed down, and expect to work in small passes rather than long sweeps.
