The 9.NW80M is RUPES's medium wool polishing pad in the 80 mm size, made by RUPES. Wool cuts differently from foam and gets through a defect in fewer passes, which is why it stays in the kit. RUPES describes the medium wool pads as "specifically crafted for the removal of moderate defects" on random orbital, gear driven and triple action machines. What separates the yellow medium from the harder cutting grades is the backing: RUPES says the yellow foam "is much more flexible to allow for improved control on curves and contours, as well as providing a softer support for improved finishing ability."
RUPES states that a uniform 15 mm fiber length is maintained across the entire surface of the pad, and that the soft flexible wool paired with the soft yellow foam backing "besides cutting moderate defects, also guarantees excellent finishing ability on most surfaces." At 80 mm this is the small pad, the one for pillars, bumper corners, mirror caps and the tight areas a 130 mm or 160 mm pad cannot reach. RUPES lists it for the LHR75E, LTA75 and LHR75. Prime the pad, keep the machine flat, and clean the wool between sections.

Small pads exist for the awkward panels, which is usually where a dog's claws found the paint in the first place. Our freeze dried dog treats keep the culprit occupied while you fix it.
