When foam is not cutting fast enough, microfiber is the next step. RUPES designed the D-A Coarse Extreme Cut Microfiber Pad for dual action polishers to rapidly remove severe defects, sanding marks and scratches on fully cured or harder paint systems, and on flat solid surfaces.

The construction is the reason it works. RUPES states the density and lateral stability of the foam interface, combined with the specialized microfiber material, means fast cutting on both dual action random orbital and gear driven orbital tools. RUPES recommends pairing it with D-A Coarse Compound and calls the combination its fastest defect removal for any of the dual action BigFoot polishing tools. Microfiber loads with residue quickly, so brush or blow the face clean between sections and plan on a finishing pass with a softer foam pad afterward.
