RUPES added the D-A Intermediate pad to fill the gap that everyone kept working around. RUPES positions it between the D-A Fine yellow pad and the D-A Coarse blue pad, and calls it the most versatile foam pad in the BigFoot range because of how many compounds it will carry.

That versatility is the selling point. RUPES states it has the polishing power to remove severe defects from a wide variety of painted and solid surfaces when paired with D-A Coarse blue compound, and that with D-A Fine yellow compound it removes moderate to fine defects and creates a high gloss finish. RUPES also calls out pairing it with UNO Protect or UNO Advanced for final polishing and a durable layer of protection. This is the 5 inch pad, listed by RUPES as the 9.DA150B at 130 by 150 mm.
