RUPES D-A Medium Wool Polishing Pad, 5" Yellow (9.NW130M)

This is the RUPES D-A Medium wool pad, part number 9.NW130M, the 130 millimeter size that fits a five inch backing plate. RUPES crafted the medium wool range for the removal of moderate defects on dual action tools. The yellow foam behind the wool is the point of difference. RUPES describes it as highly flexible, which gives you more control over curves and contours and provides a softer support that helps the pad finish rather than simply cut.

Across the yellow medium range RUPES keeps a uniform fifteen millimeter fiber length over the whole face of the pad. Soft flexible wool over a gentle yellow foam backing is what lets one pad remove moderate defects and still leave a good finish on most surfaces. RUPES lists this size for the LHR15, LK900E, LHR12E and LTA125. Pair it with a compound or polish suited to the defect you are chasing and keep the pad clean as you work.
