The maker describes it as the result of extensive testing to develop a fine polish that combines noticeable cutting performance with impressive finishing, designed to perform with dual action polishers, including both large stroke random orbital and gear driven tools. It is color coordinated to the RUPES yellow foam, wool and microfiber pads, which takes the guesswork out of matching a pad to a bottle.

RUPES positions it two ways. It is the perfect second polishing step after D-A Coarse on virtually every type of painted, gelcoat or varnished finish, and it works as a stand alone solution for light polishing needs, which covers most cars that are simply dull rather than damaged. The maker calls out excellent cutting performance relative to most fine polishing compounds, new micro abrasive technology that enhances finishing ability, and an easy wipe off that leaves fewer towel marks on soft paints or delicate surfaces.
