Wheel Woolie Large Wheel Brush, 18 in

Wheel Woolies from Braun Automotive raised the bar for detailing brushes, and this is the large one. Pal Automotive lists the large brush at 18 inches, which is the reach you need to get behind a spoke and scrub the inside of the barrel rather than just the face you can see.

The design choice that matters is what is missing. Braun builds the Wheel Woolie without metal, which Pal states reduces the scratches and brush splatter that twisted wire spoke brushes are known to cause on rims. The fibers are soft, dense carpet fibers, 100 percent polypropylene, recyclable and chemical resistant, and they hold suds well so the cleaner actually gets carried onto the wheel instead of dripping off the handle. Use it on the outside faces of rims and in the holes and crevices where brake dust collects, and on wheel wells on any size vehicle. Rinse it thoroughly and hang it to dry.
