Marshall the Puppy Visits Terminal Takeover 2026
Share
A golden retriever puppy named Marshall took a break near a matte olive green McLaren at Downshift Nation's Terminal Takeover, held on the rear side of Reading Airport in Reading, Pennsylvania. Wearing a blue harness with his name tagged right on it, Marshall settled into the wheel well's shade like he had claimed the spot for the afternoon.

Sniff and Shift's own co-pilot, Ella, was working the crowd a few rows over, but a good dog is a good dog no matter whose leash he is on. Marshall rolled to a full stretch, unbothered by spectators moving past the McLaren behind him, then settled again with his eyes half closed for a quiet moment between all the engine noise.

We keep a bag of training treats on hand at every show for exactly this kind of moment, and a piece of our cheddar cheese bites or freeze-dried beef liver goes a long way toward a calm, photogenic pup on a loud showfield. The full freeze-dried treat lineup is what we pack for Ella, and it worked just as well as an icebreaker with Marshall's people.

For the rest of the day from Ella's side of the leash, see Ella's day at the show, and check our dog-friendly car events board for where we head next.
