Modified Monthly is a rotating treat box for dogs and cats: a new theme and a different selection from our own lineup every month, chosen by us, shipped on the same date each month until you cancel. It exists for the animal who stops caring about a bag halfway through it.

What actually arrives

We pick a theme first and build the assortment to match, so contents vary by month. A dog box might mix single-ingredient freeze-dried treats such as beef liver or sardines with an air-dried chew and, when a short run is available, something from the Exotic Collection. A cat box draws from the fish, shellfish and egg side of the lineup. Bag sizes, quantities and retail value change month to month, and product photos are examples rather than a contents list.

Who it suits and who it does not

It suits a household that wants variety without picking. It does not suit an animal on a strict elimination diet, or an owner who needs the same protein every month, because the point of the box is that the protein changes. What it costs

The first box is $1 with free shipping, then $50 every 30 days. The $1 offer carries a minimum of three shipments, or a one-time $49 early cancellation if you want out sooner.
