Usually one of two people. Someone has a summer party and a dog with enough personality to carry a print shirt, or someone is buying a present for a household where the dog is the actual subject of every photo. Both want the same thing, which is for the sizes to come from one size chart rather than two. Good Thomas describes the Tiki Time BBQ Shirt as starting with the dog's shirt in a chambray inspired tiki print on crisp cotton by Dog Threads, matched to the same shirt in adult and kid sizes. Good Thomas says dog sizes run extra small for 5 to 10 pound dogs through large for 29 to 40 pound dogs. Good Thomas lists adult sizes from extra small through extra extra large, and kid sizes from medium at 12 to 18 months through extra extra large at 4 to 5 years. Of the two prints this is the one with the widest size range at both ends, so if you have a 35 pound dog and a tall adult, start here. Jungle Bird, for the second person in the photo
Good Thomas describes the Jungle Bird BBQ Shirt as opening a retro tropical matching set for dogs, made in a lightweight fabric with the same Hawaiian print carried through to women's and kids' sizes. Note what is missing there. Good Thomas says dog sizes run XS for 5 to 10 pound dogs through M for 17 to 28 pound dogs, with women's sizes XS to L and kids' sizes from S at 6 to 9 months through XXL at 4 to 5 years. There is no men's fit on this print and the dog range stops at 28 pounds, so it is the second print rather than the first. Buy it when two people are matching the dog and one of them is not in the Tiki Time range.
The bandana, for the dog that will not wear a shirt
Plenty of dogs will tolerate a strip of fabric at the neck and nothing over the shoulders. Pink Papyrus describes Tillie as a classic tie on bandana with double sided fabric and hand stitched accent trim. What we left off
No matching hat, and no human shirt listed separately. Hats stay on a dog for as long as it takes to notice them. A separately listed human shirt would defeat the point of the kit, since the whole reason these work is that both fits sit under one product with one print run. Ordering it properly
- Weigh the dog. The size chart is in pounds, not in breed names.
- On the listing, choose the Fit option first. Dog, men, women or kids.
- Then choose the size within that fit, and add it.
- Go back to the same listing and repeat for the human fit. It is one product, so both lines land in the same order.
- Fit the dog's shirt indoors a week before the party, with the cheddar bag open, for one minute.
Take clothing off a dog that is panting in it, and off any dog you are not watching. A shirt is a fine thing for two hours in the garden and a bad thing to leave on overnight.
What it replaces
Two separate orders from two brands and a print that nearly matches. It also replaces the bit where the human shirt arrives and the dog one is out of stock in the size you needed, because you are choosing both off one listing on one afternoon.

My dog is 55 pounds, is there a fit
Not on these two prints. Good Thomas sizes Tiki Time to 40 pounds at large, so the Tillie bandana in Large is the piece that works for a bigger dog while the humans wear the shirt.
Can I get the same print for a toddler
Yes on both. Good Thomas lists kid sizes on Tiki Time from 12 to 18 months and on Jungle Bird from 6 to 9 months, in each case up to 4 to 5 years.
Do the shirts ship with the treats
No. Good Thomas ships the shirts, Pink Papyrus ships the bandana and the cheddar comes from us, so expect three tracking numbers for one order.
