Guaranteed analysis (as fed, per manufacturer): Crude protein (min) 8%, Crude fat (min) 3.5%, Crude fiber (max) 1.5%, Moisture (max) 82%. Calorie content (ME calculated) 960 kcal/kg, 348 kcal per 12.8 oz (363 g) can. AAFCO, reproduced as printed: ACANA Poultry Recipe in Bone Broth Dog Food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog food Nutrient Profiles for all Life States, including growth of large size dogs (70 lbs or more as an adult) (per manufacturer).

The chunks-in-broth texture rather than a pate, and the wettest product in the Acana range at an 82 percent moisture maximum, which is also why it is the leanest per can at 348 kcal. On a dry matter basis the protein is the highest of any Acana wet food here, around 44 percent, because there is so little dry matter to divide into; the fat is correspondingly modest at around 19 percent dry matter. Two label notes worth stating rather than tidying away. The AAFCO statement on the product page contains two errors, a lowercase 'Dog food' and, more conspicuously, 'all Life States' where 'all Life Stages' belongs. It is reproduced verbatim above because this library does not rewrite AAFCO statements. And unlike the pates, this recipe uses amino acid chelate mineral forms and herring oil rather than fish oil, with sodium phosphate and calcium carbonate added, the latter consistent with the large breed growth claim it carries.
