Guaranteed analysis (as fed, per manufacturer): Crude Protein, Not Less Than 25%, Crude Fat, Not Less Than 15%, Crude Fiber, Not More Than 5%, Moisture, Not More Than 10%, Phosphorus, Not Less Than 1.0%, Calcium, Not Less Than 1.20%, Vitamin E, Not Less Than 150 IU/kg, Omega 6 Fatty Acids, Not Less Than 2.5%, Omega 3 Fatty Acids, Not Less Than 1.0%. Calorie content published as 429 kcal per cup and 3,778 kcal per kilogram. On a dry matter basis the guarantees work out to roughly 28 percent protein and 17 percent fat.

One figure here is worth singling out. This is the only Health Extension recipe that guarantees Omega 3 at 1.0% minimum; the buffalo, venison and chicken recipes all publish 0.5%, so if you came looking for the fish oil content, that doubling is the real difference rather than marketing. It is also the most calorie dense of the Little Bites range at 429 kcal per cup, ahead of venison at 431 kcal per cup on a per kilogram basis, so portion by the cup and not by eye if you are switching from another bag. Two notes taken off the page rather than smoothed over. The recipe is sold with sweet potato in the name but guaranteed as Grain Free Salmon Little Bites Recipe, without it, so search both. And one organism name is misspelled in the published list, Baciollus coagulans, transcribed here exactly as the maker prints it. Unlike most of the range this recipe lists no pork, leading instead with salmon ahead of menhaden fish meal and a second whitefish entry, which makes it the single fish option in the Little Bites line. Health Extension publishes no made-in statement and no sourcing statement for this recipe, which is what holds the disclosure tally at 6 rather than 8.
