Guaranteed analysis (as fed, per manufacturer): Crude Protein (minimum) 24%, Crude Fat (minimum) 7.5%, Crude Fat (maximum) 9%, Crude Fiber (maximum) 4%, Moisture (maximum) 10%, Calcium (minimum) 1.1%, Phosphorus (minimum) 0.9%, Vitamin E (minimum) 300 IU/kg, L-Carnitine (minimum) 100mg/kg, Glucosamine (minimum) 400mg/kg, Chondroitin Sulfate (minimum) 200mg/kg, Omega 6 Fatty Acids (minimum) 2.5%, Omega 3 Fatty Acids (minimum) 0.5%. Calorie content published as 288 kcal per cup and 3,025 kcal per kilogram. On a dry matter basis the guarantees work out to roughly 27 percent protein and 8 percent fat.

Two things make this bag genuinely different from the rest of the range rather than just differently labelled. First, it is one of only two Health Extension recipes that publishes a fat MAXIMUM as well as a minimum, 9% against a 7.5% floor, which is the detail that makes a reduced fat claim checkable rather than a marketing word, and it is the lowest calorie bag in the line at 288 kcal per cup. Second, it adds L-Carnitine at 100mg/kg, glucosamine at 400mg/kg and chondroitin sulfate at 200mg/kg, none of which appear on the standard Little Bites guarantees, and it doubles vitamin E to 300 IU/kg. The ingredient list is otherwise the same as the standard Little Bites Chicken and Brown Rice except for the omission of Malted Barley, so the reformulation lives in the guarantees rather than the recipe. Note also that the AAFCO statement here covers adult maintenance only, not all life stages, so this is not a puppy food. Two label notes transcribed rather than corrected: the mineral is printed Calcium lodate with a lower case L, and the organism Dried Bacillus coagulants. Menhaden Fish Meal is listed seventh. Health Extension publishes no made-in statement and no sourcing statement, which holds the disclosure tally at 5.
