Turkey is the first ingredient.
This is a grain free classic pate style wet food sold in a 13 oz can, the size confirmed by the manufacturer's own product photography. Its first five ingredients by pre-cook weight are turkey, water, liver, meat by-products and chicken, followed by sweet potato as the carbohydrate source in place of a grain. Because water and liver appear ahead of the named carbohydrate, this is a high-moisture recipe by design, at 78 percent moisture maximum on the guaranteed analysis, which is normal for a canned pate. Purina formulates it for adult dogs. The manufacturer's feeding chart runs from about 1/2 can a day for a 4 lb dog up to roughly 4-1/4 cans for a 100 lb dog, or a partial can alongside dry Pro Plan, split into two or more feedings and adjusted to keep the dog at an ideal body condition. Dogs who lose interest in a rotation often take it again with a single ingredient freeze dried topper crumbled over the top.
