Nineteen treats that both the dog and the cat will eat, kept in one place so a multi-pet household does not have to shop twice. The overlap is mostly fish and organ: whole sardines, sardine heads, anchovies, minnows, pink salmon, shrimp, scallops, baby octopus, blue-lipped mussels, quail eggs and the Captain's Catch medley.
Want treats on a schedule? Modified Monthly is a custom freeze-dried treat box from our Chester County kitchen, built around your dog's tastes and shipped every month. First box is $1.
What the dog eats and the cat usually will not
Also in here: beef liver, beef heart, green tripe and frog legs, plus three air-dried chews that are dog-only by size: chicken feet, duck feet and duck necks. A cat can have a flake off a sardine; a cat cannot have a duck neck.
Sizing one treat for two species
Freeze-dried pieces break down the whole way, so the same bag serves a 70 pound dog in halves and a cat in crumbs. Treats stay extras for both: keep them under about ten percent of daily food, and ask your veterinarian first if either animal is on a prescription or elimination diet.
Dog-only proteins are in freeze-dried dog treats, the cat menu is at freeze-dried cat treats, and everything we sell is in The Garage.
